Hi list,
does anyone of you have experience with this error message: "500 EOF when chunk header expected" ? I get this message when I want to validate my page (doesn´t matter which one) on w3c.org using the HTML Validator. When I look at the page on a browser, everything is ok. However, when I want to validate the bakend-login page, it validates on w3c.org. So I guess it is not a problem of TYPO3. The error-message also appears in "nagios", a monitoring software. I use TYPO3 4.1.3 The website is running on a "1&1 managed server". The problem occured on January, the 5th. Since then I have this error-message and another thing which makes problems is that since then the webserver writes 0 byte PHP-session fiels in tmp-Folder. Don´t know if this has to do anything with each other. "1&1"-Support told me that there have been no changes on the server. Hmmm... who knows? So, it would be great and would be very thankful if anybody of you has nay experience with this behavior or / and this error message. -- -- Greetings Ralf Merz Heindl Internet AG Tübingen , Germany ralf.merz (AT) heindl (DOT) de _______________________________________________ TYPO3-english mailing list TYPO3-english (AT) lists (DOT) netfielders.de http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/.../typo3-english |

Hi Ross, thanks very much for your quick answer. ![]() The question now is: why does this happen since 5th January? Nothing was changed from my side, and the provider also told me, that nothing has changed. I´ll keep searching.... or maybe someone else has an idea where to look. Would be great! ![]() Greets Ralf > > -----Original Message----- > From: typo3-english-bounces (AT) lists (DOT) netfielders.de > [mailto:typo3-english-bounces (AT) lists (DOT) netfielders.de] On Behalf Of Ralf Merz > Sent: 14 January 2008 15:23 > To: typo3-english (AT) lists (DOT) netfielders.de > Subject: [TYPO3] Error: "500 EOF when chunk header expected" when > validatingpage > > > Hi list, > > does anyone of you have experience with this error message: > "500 EOF when chunk header expected" ? > > I get this message when I want to validate my page (doesn´t matter which > one) on w3c.org using the HTML Validator. Ask the 1&1 "support" for the error log file, or at least the chunk of
it where the error is reported. s.m. Ralf Merz schrieb: > HORSEY, Ross schrieb: >> That looks like a server error. Hi all,
I asked the support the 4th time and began to raise my voice, because they didn´t believe that there was an error. Then they started to look up the error message on validator.w3.org. Well, now this afternoon I got the response from the support: They´ve found a file which was too big and which caused the process to crash. And what do you think was that big file? It was the logfile of the awstats-extension. Since it runs nearly a whole year now, the filesize grewed up to 2047MB, LOL That was the problem. Very curious and funny thing! ![]() Well, I´m happy that works now again! One question I still have, is if this also could have caused the PHP-Session errors... maybe? maybe not. ![]() Maybe I´ll redo my changes for the SESSION-thing and try if the old version runs again now. Many thanks again to Ross an Sascha!
