We use multiple instances or TimTab and VE_Guestbook on our website
for blogging and comments and each is set to send notification emails
when comments are posted. However there is no differentiation in the
headers for these emails. What would be really good is to be able to
alter the Subject and From parts fo the headers for different
instances of ve_guestbook.

I have searched the timtab_ve_guestbook template file and cannot see
any settings that would help. Do you know if this can be altered and
if so how?

I have managed to do part of this:

It is possible throuth Typoscript to alter the Email Address and name
that the notification mail comes from:
plugin.tx_veguestbook_pi1.email_from_name = Name To Come From
plugin.tx_veguestbook_pi1.email_from_mail =
EmailAddressYouWantItToComeFrom (AT) domain (DOT) com

But can't see any way of altering the Subject - anyone help?

Now have an answer to the rest of this:

plugin.tx_veguestbook_pi1._LOCAL_LANG.default.noti fication_mail_subject
= My New Subject for Email
plugin.tx_veguestbook_pi1._LOCAL_LANG.default.noti fication_mail_text =
My New text at the start of the email body:

This overrides the locallang settings.
