Hallo,

I have created a typo3 user group with limited access. I made access
permissions for user and then in user group edit page i have defined the DB
Mounts. The user can see the page tree but whe he push on any site, comes a
message http://www.nabble.com/file/p15895571/error.JPG error.JPG
But I set the access permissions.. I dont know where i did a mistake

Maybe anybody knows what i forgot to do ??
Please help me (

It looks like the first page on the page tree is a "shortcut" page
(where you have the title scribbled out - the icon has an arrow on it).

Perhaps it is pointing to another page tree where the user/group does
not have module access?

Not sure if/how that might happen - does it matter where the user/group
records are? I do not know.

Maybe retry with a regular page to get it working...

Hi Curt,
I think the arrow implicates to FE user rights, not to page type short
cut. This kind of arrow is assigned to a FE user group plus all of the
subpages. So, probably this doesn't cause the BE access problem.

Hi Rasele,
I hope this isn't too obvious, but did you activate in the BE group
record the "Include Access List" and there the Modules the group is
allowed to use?

Hi everybody,

Yes i did Include Access Lists, i did everything i found in help, here in
forum, in the typo3 content management book... all the group access
permissions, DB mounts and so on... I really have no idea what could be
wrong... (
And i believe that shortcut doesn't change anything and i checked, and
nothing

Please help...

Maybe you could change the be language to english - so not-german-users
could have an easier glance what could be wrong. Even a testing be user
account?

Hi Katja,

The default language is English, the user changed by himself to German. But
i did this like you wrote, and nothing changed.

Point is he can see all the settings what i allowed, but not the Page
content. The error says that user don't have access to this module. But he
have!
thats the problem %-|
I even gave him permissions to do everything, but still no changes. This
kills me already...

Hi Benjamin and everybody,

You know, i changed that exclude list to less fields and it is working, user
can see the pages, but he can not edit anything.. Comes the message:

" No edit access
You do not have access to edit the requested record."

But he do have :,(

Maybe i forgot something else to do ?
My God, that kills me already...

Hi everybody,

It has fixed, only i don't know how....
I think there was something with group and subgroup to do.. or not, i'm not
sure what i did but it was nothing special, something real small... Like i
thought.
I was playing with everything and it just started to work. Sad that i
couldn't notice what :-/
