Hi,
I saw a strange behaviour in an installation of mine today: I have inserted two content-elements on a page: Displaying the first should stop this morning, the other should be displayed beginning then. Now I saw that the page still showed the old element and not the new one (server-time is correct). On another page in the same tree and website I inserted another element which should start beeing displayed this morning too and this one IS displayed correctly. I had to clear the cache for the page on which I did not get the new element to make it work. Do you know the reason for this? I use TYPO3 4.1.7 with RealURL 1.4.0. Hi Christopher,
As a second option (click the checkbox at the bottom of "page properties") you're able to set the cache expire time for each page. Next time, try to change the cache to only last for 1 day or the like. This should do the job, there was a issue just the same, in the Danish Usergroup last week, and changing the cache expires time fixed the problem. Hi Christopher,
If you only edit the cache expire on the single page, you'r performance problem would only concern that single page. Depending on how many pages that needs this change, I can't really see the big performance issue. Further you could run the crawler to rebuild the cache ;-) Regs. Fiat lux!
