Hi,

quick question.
I would like to define a simple extension by IRRE.
Could auxdataviewer by Tim Wentzlau be useful to get a decent data view,
which respects the IRRE defined relationships (or nestings)?

Any advise is welcome.

I tried [auxdataviewer] some time ago but experienced problems with the
settings of the fields that should be displayed. Although I liked [Tim
Wentzlau] talk last year at the T3CON I cannot recommend this
extensions.

idea: to let people to develop (basic) FE extensions without any php
programming. Isn't it so?

Is any other work being done in a similar direction?

ps. on the other side of my question: is there a FE plugin extensions I
may hack, which displays records and related relationship from IRRE
defined tables?

you are right, the concept is really interesting. What is sad about the
extension is that Tim copies something that quite common in ASP.NET or
JAVA - datagrids. That is not something TYPO3 lacks but what PHP has not
implemented yet
