Standard [TYPO3] How to handle maintainers of one web site?

Can anybody give me a hand for that problem.

A typo3 web site should be divided so, that each maintainer can only
handle certain web pages (within a tree), e.g, new products from person
A, but new services from person B and ....

Thanks for your help.

bye

Ronald

How to set it up so that maintainer A cannot touch / edit / delete the
pages of the other department, which is maintained by person B.

I don't know if I got you right but you seem to mean access right
problems. If you like to work with multiple groups Backend Access
Control Lists (be_acl) could be helpfull.

You have Web>Access module where you can give permissions to users and groups. Additionally you can mount only parts of the tree for users.

I think that is what I need. How do I mount only parts for user A and
other parts for user B?
(I only found that I can have users, but they could access all pages)

E.g. when setting up a backend usergroup you set the mountpoint in the pagetree. Only pages below that point are visible to the user.

Are your users admins? You should not have users as admins. You should assign them to BE group and specify mount points in that group. Than users will see only part of the page tree. So you can create various groups with various mount points for different users.
