Hello, I've released a preview version of typo.script.auclo.us for Typo3 4.1 and higher.

It provides a graphical interface in the backend, allowing for the creation of scriptaculous javascript effects on content elements.

I would love some feedback about what features you would like to see for the first real release.

It would be good if you tell more about it. Generally I do not like to
download and install software just to find what it does, so are many others.

Could you provide examples, please?

*imho* The best way to see what something does is to install it and
start playing.
I supose you do have a test server?otherwise read he manual, it will
even make you laugh!

This preview is targeted for people who want to use or already use scriptaculous, which is a javascript effects library based upon prototype, but don't want to write javascript code.

It is pretty simple:


Script.aculo.us provides you with a javascript library to help you create effects on your content.

Typo3 provides you with a big UI to create content.

typo.script.aculo.us provides you with a UI to create script.aculo.us effects for your content.


An example:

After page load, you want a piece of content to fade in, taking exactly 3 seconds.

1. Install the extension
2. Edit the content
3. Create a new effect (inline, with IRRE).
4. Click on fade, and enter the number 3 in the duration field.
5. Save and reload the page.

I'll throw up a demo site when the extension is officially released. Until then, it's install and play or read the wiki (install and play is faster

Now it is clear Earlier for some reason I thought that it for BE
