Hi,
I have a small problem that i cant seem to solve. What i basiclly need is to display a single record from tt_content on a page using templavoila. Actually what i need is the exact same functionallity as when using "Insert Record", with the tiny change that i need to define what record to insert from the URL instead of the backend. Anyone know a clever way to do this? If you don't use "Insert Records" anywhere else you could modify the tt_content TS setup for this element. Could this be an option? Joey -- Wenn man keine Ahnung hat: Einfach mal Fresse halten! Hi Joey,
It seems that i cant reply to the mailinglist at the moment. I think i have found out where to change my TS, but i cant get it to work. I have done the following: tt_content.shortcut.20.0.source.field > tt_content.shortcut.20.0.source.data = GPVar:uid tt_content.shortcut.20.0.tables = tt_content This should (as i see it) show the record of tt_content with the uid taken from the var uid in the url. But it dosent seem to work ![]() /Sune >>> JoH asenau<info (AT) cybercraft (DOT) de> 06-06-2007 17:23 >>> > Actually what i need is the exact same functionallity > as when using "Insert Record", with the tiny change > that i need to define what record to insert from the > URL instead of the backend. > > Anyone know a clever way to do this? Hi Sune,
To insert a record without using the backend create a data element of 'Editing Type' set to 'Typoscript Object Path' in the TemplaVoila Data Structure form. During defining the element. It will give you a field to name the Object Path. You can then map it and reference it in the page TS setup (look at how the menu is defined in the DS and the TS for an example). If it is on only used on a single page, you'll probably want to create a new template linked to the same Data Structure. Hi Sune.
tt_content.shortcut is defined as COA, which means that the content is CACHED. Try changing it to COA_INT, and see if that helps. (COA_INT is NOT CATCHD) -- Peter Klein/Umloud Untd "Sune Brodersen" <Sune (AT) talefod (DOT) dk> skrev i en meddelelse news:mailman.1.1181205313.6409.typo3-english (AT) lists (DOT) netfielders.de...
