TYPO3 Mailingliste: nicht fragen - lesen!

Hello,

We had some UTF8 conversation problems. We had utf8 website works normal and
we have to fetch some data from special service which was can't use other
than ascii input.

In old script we can convert via utf8_to_ascii lib to converting utf8 chars to
ascii chars.

Some how this external lib does not work with typo3

Is there any working solution available ?
