Hi List,
is there any way to export a complete FCE that was created from a html template through TemplaVoila? greetings Ron _______________________________________________ TYPO3-project-templavoila mailing list TYPO3-project-templavoila (AT) lists...netfielders.de http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/...ct-templavoila |

Hi Ronald,

You may view your records if you use Web > List mode and go to your "Storage Folder" page. TO and DS records are there. Hi Xavier,
I hoped for a .t3x file. Thanks for the tip with Web > List. Indeed, I can see the TO and DS of my FCE. - But I have now idea how to export those data from there. In addition there is the HTML-Template in /fileadmin/templates I don't know if this is also necessary to export. If I look in the TO from Web > List there is not so much information accessible. Just a reference to the place where the html-template is stored. greetings Ron Xavier Perseguers schrieb: > Hi Ronald, > >> is there any way to export a complete FCE that was created from a html >> template through TemplaVoila? > > Did you mean with a .t3d file for instance? I think it could work without the HTML once the mapping has been done as it is stored in the DB record but without the original template file, you won't be able to modify anything in TV whenever needed, and if I am right when I say that the HTML may be "forgotten". There is an extension to export a TYPO3 website as a t3d/t3x or something like that. I do not remember its name but you may find it easily. You could then include all necessary files in the archive. Hi Xavier,
thanks for your help. The problem is still, that installing the exported data needs lots of explanation. I want my FCE to install easily just like any other extension. So what I want is a very normal extension that creates a new content element. - in this case a FCE. That is the only really easy way to use this new content element in various Typo3 installations without big explanations. Any hints? greetings Ron Xavier Perseguers schrieb: > Hi Ronald, > >> I hoped for a .t3x file. >> Thanks for the tip with Web > List. AFAIK, there is no such feature in TYPO3. I would have a similar need but I still do not know what to do, a good manual or something else that installs itself. I think you have to create an extension that "installs" your stuff. You may create the extension that requires templavoila and perhaps you may create your FCE with static content for the SQL tables (see tutorial on creating extensions). At the end of the "install" process, you may remove your extension. Don't know whether it'll fulfill your needs but it'll work. -- Xavier Perseguers http://xavier.perseguers.ch/en _______________________________________________ TYPO3-project-templavoila mailing list TYPO3-project-templavoila (AT) lists...netfielders.de http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/...ct-templavoila |

You may want to look at tmpl_andreas01 and tmpl_andreas09 which are bundled TV templates. They contain page templates but it should be no different for FCEs.
