Is there a page were we can see the difference of tt_products version
2.6.0 and 2.7.0 alpha?
Or is there a list of features that work or bugs that are fixed in the
different versions?

2.7.0 is already in beta and will soon be marked as stable.

is a bit outdated. You can also look at http://ttproducts.de .

The major enhancement is the dynamic change of the price, image and text
if you select another size or color of the product. This is done via
Ajax without a reload of the page.
The main change is a better structured code.
E.g. if I compare the folders model and view.

tt_products 2.6.0 | 2.7.0
model 16 27 + 10 in subfolders
view 9 24 + 10 in subfolders

So the amount of files for model and view has increased by a factor 2 or
more. This makes it easier to enhance the extension.

And in 2.7.0 you have more category lists, one for the menu and one
normal list. The category select box has not been fully implemented yet.

Another change since 2.7.0 is that you can show the article together
with the product. In 2.6.0 the product has been replaced by the selected
article. But now you have the ARTICLE marker to show you the article
merged with the product, if some fields of the article are empty. The
PRODUCT marker will always contain the products original data.
And you have a related article and related accessory list in the single
view of a product. And you can have a undefinite amount of text fields
in the single view.

We are now running the free version 2.5.5 and like to upgrade to the
new versions.
Is it possible to do an upgrade so installing version 2.6.0 or 2.7.0
over 2.5.5? Or is it best to delete version 2.5.5 en do een fresh
install of the new versions?

One other question: if we buy the nächste Version 2.6.1+ (+ 2.7.0
Beta, 2.8.0 Alpha) and we use the 2.7.0 version do we get support to
update / download the 2.7.0 stable version for free (because the
stable version will be out soon)?

Yes, you can make an upgrade using the Extension Manager and the point
'Import extensions'
Upload extension file directly (.t3x

This will delete the former version and replace it by the new one.

Yes, if you buy an upgrade 2.7.0 beta now, you will get all future
versions of 2.7.x.. These is the stable 2.7.0 and future enhancements
for 2.7.1 aso. . But it does not include the 2.8.0 beta, however it will
allow you to get an upgrade 2.8.0 beta to a reduced price later.
