Alex,
There are a few possibilities here. One idea is to have your categories
in separate sysFolders or pages and tell the Category:List plugin to get
the categories from that folder. Seperate out your parent categories,
etc. Kind of awkward but it works. Another possibility is to use
nsb_cat2menu extension by Sami Ben-yahia which you configure with TS.
With that extension you tell it via TS what categories to retrieve and
their child categories. I think there are a few others, google knows
everything so I generally find good solutions via the super man that is
google and especially the 'translate this page' link they provide, as
many solutions are in German. I hope this helps.
