You can use the subpart ###EMAIL_PLAINTEXT_TEMPLATE_SHOP### for only the
shop admin or shop category email.

Otherwise the ###EMAIL_PLAINTEXT_TEMPLATE### is sent to the customer as
well as to the shop admin

For HTML emails the ###EMAIL_HTML_SHELL### must be present.

does that mean I should use html-mail in one case an plain text in the
other? Thanks,

AIAK the admin will only receive plaintext emails in tt_products 2.5.2.
But the plaintext is always sent together with the HTML email if
activated for the client.
